Rio Arriba County had four gas stations selling midgrade gas at the lowest price of $3.50 per gallon during the week ending Mar. 21, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

The average reported price of midgrade gas across the county was $3.82 per gallon.

Of the 27 reported gas stations located within Rio Arriba County, nine offered midgrade gas.

The average reported price for a gallon of midgrade gas in New Mexico was $4.22, up from the previous week.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
