The City of Santa Fe announced on April 3 that several city offices and facilities will close early in observance of a spring holiday. City Hall, recreation centers, and Senior Services will close at noon, while public library branches will close at 1 p.m. Trash and recycling services will continue as scheduled.

The announcement is part of the city’s regular updates to keep residents informed about upcoming events, changes to city services, and opportunities for community involvement. The city encourages residents to plan ahead for the closures and take advantage of available resources.

Among upcoming events is the Annual Egg Hunt and Big Truck Event scheduled for Saturday, March 28. Gates open at 9:00 a.m., with the egg hunt beginning promptly at 10:00 a.m. Parking is available on-site or via shuttle service from overflow lots. Attendees can also learn about Community Solar programs during the event.

Other ongoing initiatives include wildfire preparedness information sessions, construction updates affecting major roads such as Airport Road and Jaguar Drive, as well as opportunities to serve on local boards including the Santa Fe River Commission, Ethics and Campaign Review Board, and Immigration Committee. Registration for summer youth programs opens April 8 with activities offered across multiple schools in Santa Fe.

Residents are invited to participate in shaping city data resources by completing a survey related to the revitalization of the Santa Fe Data Platform. Additional announcements include details about the JB White Memorial Basketball Tournament set for July.

The City continues to provide newsletters with event announcements, news updates, recreation information, and road construction reports.
