The City of Santa Fe announced on May 22 that its summer Movies in the Park: Southside series will begin on June 5 at SWAN Park. The event will feature a screening of “A Bug’s Life” and is organized by the City of Santa Fe Community Engagement Department.

The city invites residents to attend this family-friendly evening, which aims to provide entertainment for all ages. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the outdoor movie experience.

According to the announcement, early access for the event starts at 5:15 p.m., with the movie beginning at 6 p.m. Food trucks and vendors will be present at SWAN Park, located at 5300 Jaguar Drive, offering food and refreshments for purchase throughout the evening.

The city also provides a full calendar of events for those interested in other community activities during the summer season. The Community Engagement Department continues to offer opportunities for residents to gather safely and enjoy public spaces together.

Future Movies in the Park dates and film selections have not yet been announced, but more information can be found through official City of Santa Fe communications.
