Firefighters from Oregon based Torres Contracting remove brush and trim limbs on trees along Highway 4 May 11, 2022 as part of efforts to contain the Cerro Pelado Fire. The material that was cut was then gathered and fed into a chipper. This work helps make the highway a much better fuel break in the event the fire moves toward the highway.
