Good Morning from Cerro Pelado Fire Information!
Current fire size is 4688 acres, and the fire remains at 0% containment. Our mappers are hard at work gathering data and documenting the exact current location of this fire. Technical maps for the on-the-ground firefighters are highest priority, but we expect to have current maps to post here later today. We were unable to fill the order for an Infrared flight last night, so todays maps are based on field reports. We will continue to attempt to schedule an Infrared flight.
