Although there is no requirement to wear a face mask in all indoor spaces in Los Alamos County, you may choose to continue to wear a mask to protect yourself or others from getting very sick from COVID-19.
When deciding whether to wear a mask, think about the following:
· Your health conditions
· The health risks of those you live with
· If you are over the age of 65
· Where you are going
· If you are feeling sick
The CDC and NM Department of Health recommend considering the current community level where you are as well. Currently, the Los Alamos County community level is MEDIUM.
