The City of Santa Fe announced on March 30 that ongoing sewer work at 1604 Agua Fria Street has experienced delays, extending the roadway closure through the night.

This development affects motorists who were already impacted by the original project schedule, which was set to run from March 30 through April 6. The city said that eastbound traffic on Agua Fria Street is being detoured right onto Osage Avenue, while westbound traffic is routed via Potencia Street to Cerrillos Road. Traffic control measures and detour signage have been put in place.

Drivers are encouraged to follow all posted detours, expect delays, and seek alternate routes when possible. The city emphasized the importance of public patience as this necessary sewer work continues.

The City of Santa Fe also provides updates on road projects for residents seeking more information or alternative travel options. Residents can view additional updates on city road projects by visiting their website.

As the project remains active, officials continue to advise caution and awareness for those traveling near Agua Fria Street.
