The City of Santa Fe announced on May 7 that the 54th annual Santa Fe Heritage Preservation Awards will take place on Thursday, May 21, at San Miguel Chapel. The event is part of Preservation Month and aims to honor individuals and organizations dedicated to preserving the city’s architecture, history, and cultural heritage.

The awards are organized in partnership with the Historic Santa Fe Foundation and the Old Santa Fe Association. The ceremony provides an opportunity for community members interested in architecture and history to come together and celebrate efforts that help protect Santa Fe’s unique character and traditions.

According to the announcement, the ceremony will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at San Miguel Chapel located at 401 Old Santa Fe Trail. Following the awards presentation, a post-awards reception will take place at the Historic Santa Fe Foundation’s El Zaguán at 545 Canyon Road starting at 7 p.m.

The city also highlights its range of newsletters that provide updates on events, breaking news, recreation activities, and road construction reports for residents who wish to stay informed or personalize their news preferences.
