The City of Santa Fe Environmental Services Division announced on April 6 the relocation of its Residential Recycling Center from 4009 Lucia Lane to a new site at 3184 Jemez Road. The updated facility will open and become fully operational beginning Tuesday, April 7.

City officials said the move is intended to improve convenience and functionality for residents using the recycling center. The new location will operate seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and will feature automatic gates designed to enhance efficiency and ease of use.

The city noted that the facility is designated solely for residential recycling. Residents with commercial recycling materials are directed to take them to the Buckman Road Recycling and Transfer Station (BuRRT).

Residents seeking more information or with questions can contact the Environmental Services Division by phone at 505-955-2200 or via email at ESD@santafenm.gov.

The relocation reflects ongoing efforts by Santa Fe officials to streamline public services and provide improved amenities for local residents.
