Santa Fe announces summer events calendar and Movies in the Park kickoff

The City of Santa Fe announced on June 2 that its 2026 Summer Events Calendar is filling up with family-friendly activities, outdoor recreation, live entertainment, and community celebrations. More events are expected to be added throughout the season.

The first event of the summer will be Movies in the Park, featuring Disney and Pixar’s ‘A Bug’s Life’ at SWAN Park. The screening is scheduled for Friday, June 5 at SWAN Park, located at 5300 Jaguar Drive. Early access will begin at 5:15 p.m., with the movie starting at 6 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for an evening outdoors with family and friends. Food trucks and vendors will offer food and refreshments for purchase.

The event is presented by the City of Santa Fe Community Engagement Department.
