The City of Santa Fe Office of Economic Development announced on June 2 the launch of the Small Business Prosperity, Uplift, and Resilience (SPUR) Grant Program. Applications for the new funding opportunity are open from June 1 through June 30.
The SPUR Grant Program offers reimbursement-based grants of up to $20,000 for implementation-ready projects that promote business growth, operational investment, job creation, revenue generation, and long-term competitiveness. The city said applications will be accepted through June 30 and will undergo a competitive review process based on project readiness, economic impact, alignment with program goals, and available funding.
Eligible projects include equipment purchases, tenant improvements, technology upgrades, business expansion activities, strategic marketing efforts, and professional services directly tied to implementation and growth. The program is intended for existing businesses located within the City of Santa Fe that have operated for at least one year. Applicants must also maintain an active city business license and demonstrate a clear plan for growth and implementation.
A SPUR Q&A session is scheduled for Monday, June 8 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., providing an opportunity for interested parties to learn more about the application process. Additional information about the grant program and application instructions are available online.
The city continues to offer various newsletters with event announcements and updates on local news.
