Santa Fe opens summer youth program registration with new two-step process

0Comments

Registration for the City of Santa Fe’s 2026 Summer Youth Program will open on April 8. The registration process consists of two steps. First, parents or guardians must schedule a registration appointment online starting at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8. An appointment is required before proceeding to the next step.

The second step involves attending an in-person registration appointment, which will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center located at 3221 Rodeo Road in Santa Fe.

The program is designed for children ages 6 to 12 and runs from Monday, June 1 through Friday, July 24, 2026. Full-time attendance is required for all participants. Fees are determined using a sliding-scale structure and payment is due at the time of registration.

To register, families must provide proof of age—such as a birth certificate, passport, or immunization records—and proof of income, including the most recent tax return or pay stubs for the household.

Program activities include swimming, ice skating, court sports and games, arts and crafts, and field trips. The program will take place at several sites: Kearny Elementary School, Salazar Elementary School, Nina Otero Community School, Cesar Chavez Community School, and Gonzales Community School.
