Santa Fe Public Schools (SFPS) has announced several leadership changes for the 2025-2026 school year. Jaime Holladay, a seasoned educator, will take on the role of Assistant Superintendent of Elementary School Support. Holladay’s previous roles include high school teacher, assessment and SAT coordinator, and principal of Capital High School (CHS). During her six-year tenure at CHS, the school received multiple accolades from AVID, GEAR UP, the College Board, and New Mexico’s Language and Culture Bureau.
Holladay takes over from Kathy Casaus, who recently retired after years of service in the same position. SFPS expressed gratitude to Casaus for her contributions to elementary education and congratulated Holladay on her new appointment.
Lisa Vigil will become Principal at CHS after serving as Associate Principal there for three years. With two decades in education—12 years within SFPS—Vigil has experience as a teacher, instructional coach, school leader, and director. She holds a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction.
“I’m honored to lead Capital High School and continue working alongside our dedicated staff and families to ensure every student thrives,” said Vigil.
Dr. Alexandra Robertson is appointed as Principal of Ortiz Middle School. Previously an Associate Principal at CHS, Dr. Robertson is known for her commitment to adolescent development and academic excellence. Her leadership aims to strengthen Ortiz’s community partnerships in support of student learning.
Janice Ulibarri will serve as Principal of Kearny Elementary School after being Assistant Principal at Ramirez Thomas Elementary. With over 18 years in PreK–8 education, Ulibarri has been instrumental in expanding Kearny’s Dual Language Program.
Superintendent Dr. Christine Griffin stated: “We are incredibly proud to welcome this talented group of leaders into their new roles. Their dedication to student-centered leadership and academic excellence will continue to move our district forward.”
