The City of Santa Fe announced on April 22 that it is seeking community input to help guide planned improvements to the north half of Ashbaugh Park. Residents are invited to participate in a public survey and visit a new project website dedicated to the Ashbaugh Park Stormwater Infiltration Project.
The city said the upgrades will focus on enhancing flood control while also creating spaces for recreation, gathering, and learning. Community feedback collected through the survey will play a key role in shaping which amenities are prioritized during renovations.
According to the announcement, the survey is currently open and will remain available until May 6. The city encourages residents to explore details about project goals and background information on the project’s website before submitting their feedback.
City officials said that responses gathered during this process will directly inform design priorities for Ashbaugh Park. The effort aims to ensure that park improvements reflect what local residents want most from their public spaces.
Looking ahead, Santa Fe plans to use insights from this outreach as it moves forward with renovation plans for Ashbaugh Park.
