The Santa Fe Striders Running Club is organizing the 39th annual Big Tesuque Trail Run on Saturday, October 11. The event will take place on the Aspen Vista Trail in the Santa Fe National Forest and covers a distance of 12 miles. Participants will start at the Aspen Vista trailhead off Hyde Park Road, ascend to the radio towers on Tesuque Peak, and then return to the starting point.

The race day includes food, prizes, and Native American dancing. According to organizers, proceeds from the event will support Wings of America, a nonprofit that offers running programs and mentorship for Native American youth and teens.

“The Big Tesuque Trail Run is sponsored by Santa Fe County’s Economic Development Division. Come run with us, Santa Fe!” said representatives from Santa Fe County.
