Cost of college went up for all students at the Institute of American Indian and Alaska Native Culture and Arts Development

Tuition and fees rose 0.4 percent for 2018-19 at the Institute of American Indian and Alaska Native Culture and Arts Development, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New Mexico students paid $4,980 to attend the four-year public institution this year – $20 more than the $4,960 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 98 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 50 students received grants or scholarships totaling $276,244.

Including all undergraduates (589), 315 students used grants or scholarships totaling $3.3 million.
