Los Alamos County issued the following announcement on Oct. 17.
Los Alamos Public Schools will begin their hybrid schedule on Monday morning! LAPD is asking motorists to be extra cautious in school zones and around crosswalks. Obey traffic laws regarding school buses and speed regulations when school zone signs are flashing. Do not pass school buses with flashing lights and stop arms extended! Police officers will be actively monitoring school bus routes and school zones. Traffic laws will be strictly enforced. Please do your part to help keep our youth safe!
