17.9% of households in La Cueva received food stamps in 2020

La Cueva ranked 171st in New Mexico for the percentage of households receiving food stamps in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

There were 10 La Cueva households (17.9 percent) who received food stamps. La Cueva's population was 93 in 2020.

The cities with the largest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state were Brazos, Costilla, Pulpotio Bareas and Soham. In these cities, 100 percent of households received food stamps - 82.1 percent more than La Cueva.

The city with the lowest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Kirtland, which had one of 249 households receiving food stamps, 17.5 percent less than La Cueva. In 2020 the population of Kirtland was 711.
