Estrella Flores was named varsity coach for the Capital High School (CHS) girls basketball program today, June 18.
CHS Principal Jaime Holladay stated, “Estrella Flores comes with an impressive wealth of experience as a coach, athlete and, notably, collegiate basketball player. We’re excited to have Estrella join our Capital High School family. We look forward to an exciting basketball season.”
Coach Flores expressed her enthusiasm: "I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to join the Capital High School community and Lady Jag Basketball Program. I’m eager to bring my knowledge and passion for the game of basketball along with a strong coaching staff of leaders and expertise. I’m excited to not only see how these Lady Jags grow in the game of basketball but as students and in life. I cannot wait to challenge and help these girls reach their full potential. This is an incredible opportunity and I am ready to hit the court running with them.”
