New Mexico public health offices to close for Indigenous People’s Day

State public health offices in New Mexico will close on Monday, October 14, in observance of Indigenous People's Day. All offices under the New Mexico Department of Health (NMHealth) are scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, October 15.

The NMHealth Helpline will remain operational during regular business hours throughout the holiday weekend. The helpline is available on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Monday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. It is staffed by nurses who can provide health-related assistance, healthcare connections, and support for providers.
