Justin S. Green Commissioner District 1 | County Of Santa Fe
The Santa Fe County Economic Development Division is inviting residents to join the Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy (ACCE) Council. The aim is to form a council that represents diverse expertise in arts and culture fields. Candidates must live within the county but outside the City of Santa Fe.
The ACCE Council was created by the Santa Fe County Board of County Commissioners on December 9, 2024, through Resolution No. 2024-167. It will consist of eleven voting members: two from each Commission District and one at-large member chosen by staff and appointed by the Board during their meeting on January 28, 2025. Monthly meetings will be mandatory for appointees, who must also complete a conflict-of-interest form and adhere to the County's Code of Conduct.
The council's mission is to advise on initiatives that enhance the identity and economy of arts and culture in Santa Fe County. Its first task involves collaborating with a consultant to create a strategic five-year plan for arts programming and funding.
