Graduates earn 83 degrees, certificates from Southwestern College

About 71.1 percent of the 83 degrees and certificates handed out by Southwestern College in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Fe conferred 38 master's degrees and 21 certificates in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in art therapy/therapist. Data shows the school gave out 38 master's degrees in art therapy/therapist, followed by 24 master's degrees in counseling psychology and 21 certificates in "other" health professions and related clinical sciences.

The college enrolled 176 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in 176 programs.
