Santa Fe, NM- Effective April 1, 2024, the Santa Fe County Senior Services Division will temporarily close the El Rancho Senior Center to commence Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) facility upgrades. These renovations are aimed at enhancing the center's facilities to better serve the needs of our senior citizens.

"The indoor upgrades will be completed over a short duration of 7 weeks, after which seniors can return to the facility while outdoor improvements are finalized."

To ensure the safety of our seniors and minimize disruptions to services, grab and go meals for qualified seniors will occur at the Nambe Community Center Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Thursday’s from 11:30am-1:00pm. Home delivered meal schedules will not be interrupted. Transportation services will be provided to seniors who wish to attend the Nambe Community Center for daily meals and activities. The designated pick-up site will be at the Park and Ride parking lot at the Cities of Gold Casino (10 Cities of Gold Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87506).

For any inquiries or concerns regarding the temporary closure and service adjustments, please contact Senior Services at 505-992-3069 or Administrative Program Manager, Matilda Byers at 505-992-9840 or mbyers@santafecountynm.gov.

"Santa Fe County is committed to keeping our seniors informed about the construction and service adjustments as they occur."
