Santa Fe County opens stormwater management report for public comment

Santa Fe, NM - Beginning August 20, 2024, Santa Fe County invites members of the public to review and comment on the draft FY24 annual report for managing municipal stormwater pollution. This report, which is to be submitted to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), outlines the County's efforts in 2023-2024 to reduce stormwater pollution under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit NMR040000.

A copy of the draft report is available for public review on the Conserve Water Sustainability Webpage. Members of the public may also request a physical copy at the customer service center of the Santa Fe County Administrative Complex at 240 Grant Avenue, Santa Fe, NM 87501. Comments on the draft annual report should be provided in writing by 5:00 PM on September 20, 2024, to the Santa Fe County Sustainability Office, 240 Grant Avenue, Santa Fe, NM 87501 or via e-mail at sustainability@santafecountynm.gov.
