New Mexico public health offices close for Thanksgiving holiday

State public health offices in New Mexico will be closed on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) has announced that all its offices will resume regular operations on Monday, December 2.

Despite the office closures, the NMDOH Helpline will remain operational throughout the four-day weekend. The helpline can be reached at 1-833-SWNURSE (1-833-796-8773) and will be available during regular business hours: Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nurses staffing the helpline will assist with health questions, healthcare connections, and provider support.
