Santa Fe County is inviting members of the public to volunteer for its Capital Improvements Advisory Committee (CIAC). The committee, composed of five individuals appointed by the Board of County Commissioners (BCC), plays a crucial role in advising on capital improvement plans, land use assumptions, and impact fees within the county.

The responsibilities of CIAC members include assisting in updating and adopting land use assumptions, reviewing and advising on the capital improvement plan (CIP), addressing inequities or imposing impact fees, monitoring CIP implementation, and filing annual progress reports.

Applicants must reside in Santa Fe County. At least two members should represent the real estate, development, or building industries. No member can be an employee of any governmental entity.

Interested candidates are asked to submit a letter of interest and resume to Santa Fe County's Planning Division. Applications should be addressed to Herbert Foster at P.O. Box 276, Santa Fe, NM 87504-0276 or via email at mfoster@santafecountynm.gov. The deadline for applications is Friday, November 1, 2024, at 5:00 pm.
