Santa Fe, NM - Santa Fe County has announced that all senior centers will remain closed on Friday, November 8, 2024, due to ongoing severe weather conditions. The decision aims to ensure the safety of seniors by reducing travel risks and limiting road traffic.

Seniors enrolled in home-delivered or congregate meal programs received additional shelf-stable meals on November 6, 2024, as a precautionary measure against the anticipated severe snow. During this period, staff will continue wellness calls to check on seniors.

Santa Fe County expressed gratitude for the community's understanding as they focus on prioritizing the safety of seniors and residents.
