Santa Fe residents affected by the recent winter storm have an opportunity to dispose of storm-damaged trees and branches at no cost. The Buckman Road Recycling and Transfer Station (BuRRT) is providing a free branch drop-off service from November 14 through November 23, 2024. This initiative aims to assist residents in clearing their yards following the snowstorm on November 7–8.

Residents are reminded that all branches must be tied down and securely fastened for safe transport. It is important to note that only personal vehicles qualify for this free service. Landscaping companies and contractors using commercial vehicles will still be subject to standard tipping fees.

The facility operates daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Residents seeking more information can contact BuRRT at (505) 424-1850.
