The Santa Fe Public Schools Language & Culture Department is calling for volunteers to serve as language evaluators and judges. These volunteers will participate in a three-judge panel for student presentations in Spanish, Serbian, ASL, and French. The initiative aims to support high school seniors working towards the NM Senior Bilingualism and Biliteracy Seal, as well as 8th-grade students pursuing the District 8th Grade Bilingualism and Biliteracy Pathway Award.

"This is a meaningful way to support our students as they showcase their bilingual skills and cultural knowledge,” stated Daniel Pastrana, Executive Director of the SFPS Language and Culture Department. “Our volunteers play a vital role in celebrating and validating their achievements.”

For further inquiries, Dr. Suzanne Jacquez Gorman can be contacted at sjacquez@sfps.k12.nm.us.
