Santa Fe Public Schools has announced its sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program for 2024. The program will be available at various sites, each with specific service dates and times. The locations include Aspen, Capital High, Cesar Chavez, El Camino Real, Early College Opportunity (ECO), Kearny, Nava, Nina Otero, Ramirez Thomas, and Sweeney.
Each site will serve breakfast and lunch at designated times. However, all sites will remain closed on weekends and on June 19th and July 4th. Additionally, Capital High and ECO will not operate during the week of July 1st to July 5th.
The program is open to all children between the ages of one and eighteen years. Participation in a school or city-sponsored program is not a prerequisite for enjoying a meal at these sites. In line with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, this initiative prohibits discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age or reprisal for prior civil rights activity in any program conducted or funded by USDA.
Those with disabilities requiring alternative means of communication for program information should contact their local agency where they applied for benefits. Individuals who are deaf or have speech disabilities may contact USDA through the Federal Relay Service at (800) 877-8339. Program information may also be made available in languages other than English.
