The Santa Fe Public Schools (SFPS) announced the 2024-25 school calendar today. Superintendent Hilario “Larry” Chavez revealed that students will return to school on Friday, August 9th, with the academic year concluding on Thursday, May 22nd, 2025.
The complete calendar can be accessed online at https://go.sfps.info/24-25Calendar. It includes a total of 175 school days, incorporating four social-emotional learning days. Students will have a full week off for Thanksgiving Break from November 25th to November 29th. Winter break is scheduled to begin on December 23rd, with classes resuming on January 7th. Spring break will take place from March 24th to March 28th.
"Parents and students are eager to know what lies ahead. The calendar provides the framework for learning and needed information for families to plan their summer vacations and Thanksgiving, winter and spring breaks. The 2024-25 SFPS school calendar reflects statutory requirements," said Superintendent Chavez.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming students back in August,” he added.
