Santa Fe, NM—In honor of emancipation in the United States and its ideals of freedom and equity for all, Santa Fe County announces the closure of its administrative offices on Wednesday, June 19th, in observation of Juneteenth "Freedom Day."

All Senior Centers will be closed, and extra home-delivered meals will be provided to eligible seniors prior to the closure. All Solid Waste Convenience Centers will be closed, while essential services provided by Public Safety will continue as usual. Regular business hours for administrative offices will resume on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

Santa Fe County condemns violent and racist activities and stands in support of legislative action that serves the African American community and all subjugated communities who have been victims of the many forms of slavery.
