The SFPS Innovation Expo will take place on April 23rd from 5 to 7 p.m. at Early College Opportunities High School located at 2301 W. Zia Road. The event is free and welcomes families to join the Santa Fe community to witness students and educators engaging with innovative educational tools and technology.
The Expo is now in its seventh year and continues to show how Santa Fe’s educational community uses technology to enhance student expression, develop critical thinking skills, and prepare for future academic and professional challenges. The event will feature projects from students, teachers, and district staff as well as interactive exhibits from various community organizations.
This year's theme, "What does innovation mean to you?", encourages participants to explore new and meaningful ways of learning, creating, and collaborating. Student projects will demonstrate the use of digital tools and problem-solving techniques that have tangible impacts. Several community partners, including STEM Santa Fe, New Mexico PBS, and Positive Energy Solar, will participate by offering interactive learning experiences.
“The Innovation Expo uplifts collaboration and possibility,” said Katy Grunewald, SFPS Innovation Coordinator. “It’s an opportunity for SFPS schools, district departments, and community partners to explore ideas, learn together, and connect with the community.”
