CITY OF SANTA FE: RTD 100 Riverside, 110 Westside And 340 Chile Line Red

Announcement

City of Santa Fe issued the following announcement on Jun. 2.

In an effort to begin to ease some of the modifications that were put in place as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the North Central Regional Transit District’s RTD Blue Bus will resume regular route and schedule operations on its 100 Riverside and 110 Westside buses in Española, and 340 Chile Line Red in Taos beginning Monday, June 8.

Face coverings will continue to be mandatory in order to board the bus. The State order restricting groups to five or less will continue to be adhered to on vehicles until further notice. As a result, multiple seats will remain closed off to provide appropriate social distancing.

The NCRTD continues to take aggressive measures to clean and disinfect passenger vehicles daily. The District’s top priorities are to continue service to the public and to keep them and our employees healthy and safe. The District asks that anyone experiencing flu symptoms refrain from boarding its vehicles.

Passengers on 340 Chile Line Red are advised that the following stops are closed due to road construction: Paseo del Pueblo & Frontier Rd. (Taos Valley Lodge NB and Piñon Plaza SB) and Paseo del Pueblo & Tewa St. (Centinel Bank).

Modifications on a number of routes will continue until further notice and six routes remain on temporary suspension. Please visit the NCRTD website at RidetheBlueBus.com or call 866-206-0754, ext. 2 for information on routes currently impacted.

The North Central Regional Transit District provides fare-free bus service on 27 of 29 routes to a service area that encompasses over 10,000 square miles of north central New Mexico including the Counties of Taos, Los Alamos, Rio Arriba and Santa Fe; as well as the Pueblos of Pojoaque, Ohkay Owingeh, Nambé, San Ildefonso, Santa Clara and Tesuque.
