The CDC no longer requires air passengers to show a negative COVID-19 viral test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board their flight. However, it is still recommended you consider getting tested for current infection as close to the time of departure as possible (no more than 3 days) before travel to help protect yourself and others by reducing the chances of spreading COVID-19.
After you return home, consider that you might have been exposed to COVID-19 on your travels. You might feel well and not have any symptoms, but you can still be infected and spread the virus to others. Get tested again, especially if your travel involved situations with greater risk of exposure, such as being in crowded places while not wearing a well-fitting mask.
