LANL Foundation announces 2024 Scholars

The LANL Foundation has recently announced the recipients of the 2024 scholarships, with 128 Northern New Mexico students set to benefit from a total of 132 LANL scholarships worth $880,000. Among the recipients are 15 students from SFPS who are now on the path to pursuing bachelor's degrees with the support of LANL scholarships.

The recipients from SFPS include Lucia Esquibel, Nicolas Garcia, Yulianna Granillo Gomez, Natalia Marquez, Marco Otero, Angel Pacheco, Greta Smith, and Merrick Word-Brown from various high schools in the area. Additionally, Destiny Muñoz, Rocio Perez, Evelyn Ayala Villalobos, Cindy Caraveo, and Ayanna Martinez from Capital High School have also been awarded scholarships for their academic pursuits.

Furthermore, Neve Naktin from Santa Fe High School has been granted the Triad Leadership Scholarship, while Thomas Heikkero from the same school received the Alan Johnston Memorial Scholarship.

The LANL Foundation's continuous support of students in Northern New Mexico through these scholarships is paving the way for brighter academic futures for these young scholars.
