The Santa Fe County Planning Division is looking for a volunteer to join the Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC). The committee, which consists of thirteen members, seeks individuals with experience in transportation planning, operations, and maintenance. A vacancy has opened up for a member from District 2.
The TAC advises the Board of County Commissioners on various transportation-related issues, including roadways, trails, bikeways, transit, and pedestrian facilities. It also provides recommendations on safety studies and policies related to road operations and maintenance.
Regular meetings of the TAC are held quarterly on the third Wednesday of February, May, August, and November at 4 p.m. These meetings take place in the Santa Fe County Administrative Complex's Plaza Conference Room located at 240 Grant Ave., Santa Fe.
Interested residents should submit a letter of interest along with a resume to Marvelous Echeng at the Santa Fe County Planning Division by March 21, 2025. Applications can be sent via mail or email.
